Flat Sight Glasses Mounting
The packaging must be:
· Flat.
· The same size of diameter as the sight glass.
· New.
· Smooth and supple
· From 1 / 16 "to 1 / 4" on the inside.
· 1 / 16 " as maximum on the outside.
· Metallic particle free.
Tightness of nuts and bolts:
· Never squeeze a sight glass while it is still hot.
· Never squeeze a sight glass while the machine is in operation.
· Tighten nuts and bolts with just enough pressure, according to the equipment.
· Use torque wrench with a maximum difference of 1 ½ "ft / lb
· Never exceed the maximum torque in the following table:

Maintenance
Keep your sight glass a clean using a crystal commercial cleaner, never use wire brushes or blankets with abrasive parts blankets that may damage or scratch the sight glass.
Once the sight glass has been removed, throw away the crystal and packaging waste, as these may be damaged and their use may cause unnecessary risks.
